Appliance installation that fits the cabinet — not the other way around

We install dishwashers, ranges, wall ovens, refrigerators and built-ins across the South Bay & Peninsula — and do the cabinet carpentry to make them sit clean, level, and damage-free.

We check the fit against your appliance spec before you buy — so install day holds no surprises.

Main services

Appliance installation, with the fit built in

Every service includes measuring against the spec and modifying the cabinet when the opening needs it.

Dishwasher Installation

A dishwasher that's level, leak-checked, and secured to the counter — and if the bay is too wide or too tight, we close the gap or trim it on the same visit.

Range & Cooktop Installation

We set slide-in ranges and drop-in cooktops to the cutout spec — and when the opening or counter is fighting the unit, we adjust the cabinetry on the same visit.

Wall Oven Installation

We set single, double, and oven-microwave combo wall ovens at the manufacturer's mounting height, build the platform that actually carries the weight, and make the two-person lift so the unit seats flush and stays put.

Refrigerator Installation

We install counter-depth, built-in, and panel-ready refrigerators — and when the cavity is the wrong size, we modify the surround so the unit sits flush, level, and even.

Range Hood & Venting

We mount the hood, run the duct through the cabinetry, and do the surround carpentry so the insert sits flush at the right height and the venting actually pulls air outside.

The difference

Most installers stop where the carpentry starts

Delivery crews set the box and leave. Carpenters build but don't plumb and wire. When the appliance doesn't fit, you're stuck coordinating two trades and a second trip — usually after the old appliance is already gone.

We close that gap. Appliance installation and cabinet modification, handled together by the same hands, so "delivered" and "actually working" happen on the same day.

  • Openings resized to the manufacturer spec
  • Support platforms built to carry the weight
  • Fillers and panels aligned for an even reveal
How cabinet modification works
Our process

From a tape measure to a clean, level fit

The same careful path on every job, whether it's a dishwasher swap or an integrated built-in column.

  1. 01

    Assess & measure

We start with the appliance spec sheet and the opening it has to live in — width, depth, height, the face frame, utilities, and the cabinet around it. Most fit problems are decided here, before a single tool comes out.

  2. 02

    Protect the kitchen

Floors, countertops, and finished cabinet faces get covered, padded, and taped off first. Blue tape on the edges, moving blankets and ram board on the floor, and a vacuum staged for dust control.

  3. 03

    Install & fit the cabinet

We set the appliance — and when it does not drop in clean, we modify the cabinet to make it: resizing the opening, building a support platform, adding filler strips, or aligning panels and trim for an even reveal.

  4. 04

    Level, test & clean

The appliance is leveled, secured, and anti-tip hardware set where it belongs. We test operation, check every reveal and gap, then vacuum and wipe down so the kitchen is ready to use.

What homeowners say

4.9 from 41 reviews

Installed our Sub-Zero and modified the cabinet so it sat perfectly flush — even reveal, dead level, and finished in a single visit. You'd never know anyone had been there.
— Mark D., San Jose
Our new range was too wide for the old opening. They trimmed the cabinet and had it fitted the same day — no damage, no mess left behind.
— Elena R., Palo Alto
Booked a fit check before buying a panel-ready dishwasher and it saved us from ordering the wrong size. They came back and installed it perfectly a week later.
— Priya S., Mountain View
Wall oven swap into an existing column that needed a new support platform built. They handled the carpentry and the install together and cleaned up after themselves.

FAQ

Questions homeowners ask us first

Do you only modify cabinets, or do you install the appliance too?

Both — and that's the point. We install the appliance and, when the opening needs work, do the cabinet carpentry on the same visit. You get one accountable crew instead of an installer and a carpenter pointing at each other.

What if I don't know whether my cabinet needs modification?

Most people don't until it's measured. Send us the appliance spec sheet and a couple of photos of the space and we'll tell you whether it drops in clean or needs cabinet work — before you buy or schedule delivery.

Do you work on high-end and panel-ready appliances?

Yes. A large share of our work is panel-ready and built-in appliances — Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Miele, Bosch — where exact reveals and panel alignment matter most. We also do everyday installs on standard appliances.

How do I book?

Call us or use the booking link to request a fit check. Send the appliance model and a couple of photos of the space, and we'll get you scheduled.

What does it cost?

We charge a flat $89 service call to come assess the job against your appliance spec. Project labor starts from about $179 and depends mostly on how much cabinet work the fit needs — we confirm the exact price on site before any work starts.

How fast can you come out?

We keep same-day and next-day appointments open whenever we can, we work 7 days a week from 8 AM to 6 PM, and phone calls are answered 24/7. Most fittings are finished in a single visit.
